Ansible DevOps Engineer

Description

The Digital Modernization Sector has an opening for an Ansible DevOps Engineer to work in Woodlawn, MD.

This position will require onsite work in Woodlawn, MD five days a week.

Day to Day Responsibilities :

Plan and implement reliable automated architecture.

Utilize Ansible for provisioning.

Utilize Liquibase and DbFit for database releases.

Utilize Linux configurations and system administration.

Problem solve and troubleshoot when needed.

All other duties as assigned or directed.

Required Qualifications :

These skills will help you succeed in this position :

Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience OR Masters degree and 6+ years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted / accepted in lieu of degree.

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.

Ability to effectively communicate information, both verbally and written to end users, team members and management.

Strong Experience with provisioning using Ansible.

Expert knowledge of Liquibase and DbFit to automate release processes.

Strong PostgreSQL DBA experience.

Experience with Linux commands

Working knowledge of database query languages on Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL.

Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Desired Qualifications :

Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills :

Experience with Python and JavaScript.

Strong background in AWS cloud and virtualization.

Knowledge of the SDLC.

Pay Range :

Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
