Facility :
This facility specializes in inpatient psychiatric care with two floors of 35 beds each. The center provides comprehensive mental health services with an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, offering a supportive environment for both patients and healthcare providers.
Opportunity :
Primary Care PA-C or ARNP - Inpatient Psychiatry
Job Details :
- 0.6 FTE position (24 hours weekly) with a structured schedule : 4.8 hours per day on Tuesday / Thursday / Friday and 9.6 hours on Wednesday
- Provider will cover one floor on Tuesday / Thursday / Friday and two floors on Wednesday
- Manageable patient volume of 4-6 patient encounters per shift
- Perform routine H&Ps for all new admissions
- Assess and manage medical conditions, including acute complaints and chronic illnesses
- Complete Treatment Plan goals for medical care as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Consult with psychiatric providers regarding co-occurring psychiatric and medical conditions
- Prescribe, monitor, and evaluate results of prescribed medications
- Order and interpret laboratory tests as required for medical care
- Provide substance withdrawal management as needed
- Document medical care provided accurately and appropriately
- Implement antimicrobial stewardship practices
- Must have current Washington State ARNP / nursing license
- Must have DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required
- Experience with family practice, geriatric, and young adult populations
- Preferred experience working with mentally ill populations
- Familiarity with rules and regulations governing mental health treatment
- Clean history may qualify for expedited privileges (90-120 days credentialing timeframe)
Compensation :
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
Estimated Hourly Rate : $ 85 - $ 100
