Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to) :
- Service delivery for students under Teacher's supervision
- Development of Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- Preparation of quarterly reports on objectives contained in IEP
- Preparation and implementation of lesson plans from selected content areas in various curricula
- Implementation of behavior development plans as developed by Instructional Supports Review Committee (ISR
- Supervision of Teacher Assistants in classroom
- Maintenance of appropriate professional relationships with superiors, colleagues, and parents
- Maintenance of appropriate professional credentials
- Maintenance of all documentation required by school
- Participation in required professional meetings (ISRC, IEP, staff training, etc.)
- Training of Teacher Assistants in IEP and behavior program implementation
- Performance appraisal and feedback on performance to Teacher Assistants
