Job Summary :

Material Coordinator is responsible for the accuracy and control of production parts inventory. Material Coordinator collaborates closely with production teams and IE to identify improvement opportunities and implement solucions that streamline operations and meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP / MRP systems.
  • Responsible for production counts and scrap reporting accuracy.
  • Implement and follow material handling procedures to minimize waste and damage.
  • Ensure timely issuance of meterials to production lines.
  • Develop cost reduction strategies through wasted minimization, resource optimization, and productivity enhancements.
  • Promote and enforce adherance to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Responsible for shipping and receiving process, including interaction with customers to ensure accuracy of shipments.

Require Skills and Qualifications :

  • Education : Associate's or Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills for identifying and addressing process issues and areas for improvement.
  • Knowledge of lean methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to ensure quality and accuracy in all aspects of work.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience of working with an MRP system.
