About The Position

Must-Have :

• Mixed MS / Tele and Intermediate patients experience
• Experience with titrating cardiac drips and telemetry
• Familiarity with Epic charting system

Description :

This position involves caring for a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics.

The nurse will work in a stepdown unit with a mixed medical / surgical and stroke patient population.

Assignments may vary depending on patient acuity and staffing needs.

The nurse will be responsible for administering medications and managing drips, including cardiac and vasoactive drips.

The staff-to-patient ratio is 1 : 4-5, reflecting a high staffing ratio for this unit.

Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in patient monitoring and assessment.

There is a requirement to work holidays based on the assignment schedule.

Candidates should have skills in blood product administration, central line care, non-invasive airway management, and more.

Weekly schedules will include working every other weekend, with floating required within the facility as needed.

Full compliance with required documentation is necessary to ensure a timely start.

Travelers are expected to be flexible regarding assignments and responsibilities.

References from supervisory roles are highly preferred for submission.
