Job Summary :

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of computer systems and a passion for solving technical problems. You will assist in maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, providing first-level support for hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Perform basic Windows OS troubleshooting, including user account issues, software installations, and system updates.
  • Assist with setting up and configuring new workstations and devices.
  • Document support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or system administrators as needed.
  • Support routine IT maintenance tasks such as backups, patching, and antivirus updates.
  • Ideal position for a candidate looking to gain experience in the IT industry.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in IT preferred (e.g., CompTIA A+).
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware components and basic networking concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to implement software and hardware updates.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
