Day in the Life of a Direct Care Worker :

The Direct Care Worker is responsible for providing a therapeutic atmosphere within the dorm or group home setting. This integral and rewarding role provides structure, safety, and care to severely traumatized children who are often victims of sexual, physical, and / or emotional abuse.

Qualifications for a Direct Care Worker :

Shift Details :

Second Shift positions are 4-day work weeks and are scheduled from 2 : 30pm-12am during the week and from either 8 : 00am-4 : 00pm or 3 : 45pm-12am on the weekends. Currently Saturday and Sunday shifts are required for all direct care workers.

3rd Shift positions are 4 day work weeks and are scheduled from 11 : 30 pm to 9 : 30 am. Currently Saturday and Sunday shifts are required for all Direct Care Workers.
