Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Food Services Manager to lead our Patient Services Team in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include planning and overseeing patient food assembly and service, scheduling, hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining staff. The role requires ensuring patient satisfaction and maintaining positive public relations while managing resources efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and oversee goals for patient food services based on medical directives and patient needs.
• Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop patient service staff.
• Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and meet food preferences within diet guidelines.
• Help achieve patient satisfaction goals through effective staff assistance.
• Adhere to regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accreditation requirements, and maintain confidentiality and patient rights.
• Participate in or lead patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and quality improvement programs.
