Job Summary

A US-based law firm is seeking a persuasive, empathetic, and knowledgeable Legal Consultant to join its remote team. The role is ideal for candidates with a legal background and client-facing experience , particularly in immigration law or consulting. The Legal Consultant will handle inbound calls from prospective clients , assess their immigration needs, provide accurate legal guidance, and convert inquiries into active cases. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to simplify complex legal concepts, and a strong focus on client trust and relationship-building.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a law degree (J.D. or LL.B.) or equivalent. Bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should have 2–3+ years of experience in immigration law or consulting , ideally in a client-facing or sales role. Strong communication and consultative sales skills are essential, as well as familiarity with USCIS processes and forms (e.g., I-130, I-485, I-765). Experience working with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and legal case management systems is desirable. The role is best suited for individuals comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound calls from potential clients seeking assistance with immigration services (green cards, work visas, spousal petitions, etc.).

Conduct initial eligibility assessments and clearly explain the firm's legal services.

Build trust and rapport with clients , addressing their legal queries empathetically and accurately.

Convert qualified leads into paying clients by explaining service packages, timelines, and processes.

Collaborate with the legal operations and case management teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.

Maintain detailed client interaction records using CRM and case management tools.

Stay updated on U.S. immigration policies and procedures to provide accurate guidance.

Share client insights with the marketing and sales teams to improve conversion strategies.

Additional Details

Working Days & Hours : Monday–Friday (9 AM – 6 PM EST) & Saturday (9 AM – 4 PM EST); Sunday off
