Position : Front-End Software Engineer - Modern Applications

Duration : 3 months with ability to extend

Location : Remote

Shift : Hours are Standard Business Hours M-F with ability to coordinate with project team to standard consulting schedule such as 7-3, 8-4, 9-5 PM

Job Description :

Front-End Software Engineer will be part of a comprehensive team working in supper with clients for Automated Digital Service Provider data ingestion and Catalog matching for digital royalties and revenue assurance. This project is intended to mitigate manual intervention while improving speed, accuracy and facilitating revenue assurance.

Responsible for the accuracy and quality of the deliverables generated at each step in the software development lifecycle

Building cutting-edge web application

Map business needs technical solutions in the UI

Serve as technical leader and mentor to uplift the skill sets of everyone on the team

Educate and coach client teams in Front End architecture and best practices to ensure they are capable owners of their applications after handoff

Deliver technical recommendations, presentations and workshops to clients

What We Look For :

Expert experience with one or more modern Front End frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc.)

Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript

Expert knowledge of Design Systems & Atomic Design principles

Expert knowledge of scalable CSS architecture methodologies & software design principles

Knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitFlow & source control best practices

Experience architecting Front End on large scale applications

Experience working in close collaboration with designers and good understanding of visual / interaction design principles

Knowledge of Services Oriented Architectures, RESTful Interfaces & Enterprise Application Patterns

Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience setting up Front End build tooling

Experience with and advocacy for accessibility best practices

Experience with web performance best practices

Experience setting up / writing Front End unit, integration, and end to end tests

Eagerness to learn and mentor others in new tools and technologies, and passion to deliver quality solutions both individually and as part of a team

Comfortable in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills, independent self-direction coupled with team collaboration, and open communication

Knowledge of the principles & patterns of Agile software development

Nice to Have

Experience with back end technologies

Experience with design / prototyping tools

Experience with vector databases and MCP servers

LOE is remote though should travel be requested. The travel costs associated with the project (flights / hotels / expenses) will be covered by Insight; Resource time when not delivering is not considered billable hours (flight time to / from delivery location, drive time to / from delivery location, non-delivery hours (meals and off hours).
