Our client is a Health Care provider located in Engelwood, NJ, seeking a Medical Paralegal. Please note, a Paralegal certificate is required.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Analyze and organize medical records, billing statements, and payer correspondence related to OON claims
  • Prepare IDR submissions and manage timelines under the No Surprises Act
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research on federal and state laws impacting NSA and OON claims
  • Coordinate with providers, insurers, and legal teams to resolve reimbursement disputes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case tracking systems

Qualifications :

  • Paralegal certification is required
  • 2+ years of experience in medical claims, insurance, or healthcare legal compliance
  • Familiarity with NSA regulations, IDR procedures, and medical billing terminology
  • Strong organizational, communication, and legal writing skills

    • The annual base salary range is $80k to $110k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and / or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
