job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBe excited about joining and helping build a company Previous experience in automotive or electrical assembly line work (e.g. semi tractors, heavy equipment, farm equipment, terminal trucks) Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Ability to read & understand engineering drawings Ability to embrace new technologies and ideas Strong written and verbal communication skills Adherence to policies and procedures (e.g., safety) Must be able to train on 1st shift regardless of shift. High school diploma required with 3+ years of experience in a related field Prefer at least an Associate's degree in Engineering or Mechanics with at least a year of related experience. Specialized training in engineering or mechanics (military or trade school) Welding (e.g., TIG, use of plasma cutter) and fabrication experience Electrical wiring experience.

Position Summary
We are seeking an Electrical Vehicle Assembler for Orange EV's facility in Kansas City, KS
Position Responsibilities
- Tear down and assembly of heavy-duty electric trucks by work instructions
- Ensure the implementation of quality and safety procedures
- Identify and correct defects in product or workmanship
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
