Goal of the Role Lead and scale the creative engine behind Nysonian’s portfolio (Nobl Travel & Flo Pilates). This role owns performance, brand, UGC, production, and organic creative — building systems that connect creative output directly to measurable revenue.
This is a performance-driven creative leadership seat , not a “Head of Creative” or “Creative Director” role. The focus is creative that sells — fast, data-backed, and deeply native to each channel. The ideal person knows how the best DTC brands operate (HexClad, Beis, Ridge, True Classic, Resident, Jones Road Beauty) and can build the systems to outperform them.
What You’ll Do Lead and develop a 30+ person creative organization, including :
Brand Creative (1 Strategist + agency partners)
Performance Creative Strategists (3)
Design Team (10, including Design Director)
UGC, Organic Social, and Production Pods
Serve as the top creative authority, reporting directly to the CMO.
Architect and own the creative testing system — from concept → production → launch→ feedback → iteration.
Ensure creative is platform-native across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and CTV.
Manage and strategically deploy a 7-figure annual production budget with clear ROI and profitability targets.
Partner cross-functionally with : Paid, GTM, and CMO.
Paid (Dan Verdi) – data feedback and creative iteration
GTM (Karina Maeda) – product launches, offers, and positioning
CMO – creative vision and long-term system building
Oversee and guide shoot planning and execution : define concepts, deliverable needs, and creative direction for efficiency (you don’t have to direct on-set, but you know exactly what needs to be captured to drive performance).
Be hands-on where impact matters most — creative reviews, scaling decisions, and testing strategy.
Build frameworks for speed, iteration, and accountability across creative pods.
Collaborate closely with Paid and GTM to ensure creative momentum translates into revenue growth.
What “Great” Looks Like (KPIs) Consistent increase in creative win rate across platforms.
Clear ROAS / NC-ROAS lift driven by creative performance.
Production budget efficiency and profitability.
Strong alignment and collaboration across Creative, Paid, and GTM.
Must Have 6+ years total creative experience, 3+ years in DTC performance creative
Hands-on operator, manages pods, builds iteration systems, fluent in data-driven decision making.
Shared Requirements Experience as a senior creative in a high 8- or 9-figure DTC brand, or through an agency managing similar accounts.
Deep understanding of paid social creative psychology — hooks, pacing, narrative, and offer alignment.
Familiarity with CTV creative strategy and testing.
Experience managing 7-figure production budgets and ensuring ROI accountability.
Strong working knowledge of shoot workflows — concepting, deliverable lists, and on-set production flow.
Hands-on creative judgment : knows how to call a winner and diagnose fatigue.
Analytical mindset : able to connect creative output directly to performance metrics.
Fast operator : decisive, no bureaucracy, strong bias toward execution.
Nice-to-Haves Experience building or running in-house creative testing systems at scale.
Familiarity with AI-assisted or automation tools for creative iteration.
Existing network of performance-focused production or UGC creators.
Background managing creative across multiple markets or brands.
