About the Role

A thriving hospital in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Board-Certified or Truly Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon to join their team. This is a rare chance to build a robust elective spine practice while providing essential neurosurgical care to a highly underserved community.

You’ll be one of only two neurosurgeons in the entire community , making this a career-defining opportunity for impact and growth.

Position Highlights

General Neurosurgery with strong elective spine practice potential

Work alongside 4 experienced APPs + onsite pain service & X-ray

Advanced neuro-navigation tools : Globus Robot + Stryker Navigation

EMR : Epic

Facility : Level III Trauma Center

Schedule & Call

2 days OR / 2 days clinic / 1 flex day

Clinic : 8–12 patients / day (with PA support)

7 ER call days / month – majority handled remotely

Floor calls managed by APPs

Likely 1 weekend call / month

You’re a Great Fit If You Are :

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) – Required

Licensed in Colorado (or willing to obtain) – Required

Committed to full-time practice (no locums / part-time)

Focused on patient-centered care with a clean malpractice history
