Civil Engineer – Site & Roadway Design

We're looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to take ownership of civil design and production efforts across a range of exciting public and private projects. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated professional who enjoys leading roadway and site design work from concept through construction—while mentoring others and collaborating across disciplines.

This role is best suited for a detail-oriented, confident decision-maker who thrives in a team setting, values client satisfaction, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, efficient design solutions that meet budget and schedule goals.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and execute civil / site design projects, including stormwater management, utilities, grading, and roadway design.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Provide technical oversight, mentorship, and professional guidance to junior engineers and design staff.
  • Participate in design charrettes, client meetings, and project presentations.
  • Maintain active involvement in the local engineering community.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license with NCEES certification and ability to obtain licensure in multiple states.
  • 7+ years of experience in site design, ideally within an A / E consulting environment.
  • Strong background in stormwater, utility, parking, and DOT (ODOT preferred) projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroFlow drainage software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of AASHTO and ODOT design standards and BIM workflows.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MicroStation OpenRoads or GEOPAK.
  • Experience with Federal Government Agencies such as DoD, DOJ, or USACE.

    • Base Pay Range

    $95,000.00 / yr - $115,000.00 / yr
