- Tier 1 : $40 / hr for 6 shifts in a 6 week schedule\n
- Tier 2 : $45 / hr for 12 shifts in a 6 week schedule\n
- Tier 3 : $50 / hr for 18 shifts in a 6 week schedule\n\nAdditional shift differentials apply for nights and weekends!\n\nSummary : \n\nAs a skilled Nurse in a relevant clinical setting, you will independently provide comprehensive care, adapt to clinical challenges, and support patient families throughout the birthing process.\n\nResponsibilities : \n
- Meet OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.\n
- Provide nursing care according to the ANA Scope and Standards, conducting assessments, making diagnoses, and developing care plans.\n
- Address complex emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.\n
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for efficacy and side effects.\n
- Keep thorough documentation of patient history, symptoms, and administered care.\n
- Assess learning needs and educate patients and families on relevant health matters.\n\nJob Requirements : \n\nEducation / Skills\n
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.\n\nExperience\n
- 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery or related nursing specialty preferred.\n\nLicenses, Registrations, or Certifications\n
- Current BLS certification required.\n
- RN License in state of employment or compact required.\n\nPosition Requirements : \n\nEducation / Skills\n
- New hires must complete New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of employment.\n
- Preceptorship by a designated staff member and completion of competency validations is required.\n
- Annual competency verification completion is mandatory.\n\nExperience\n
- Preferred experience in a Perinatal RN Residency or recent practice in a Perinatal Setting.\n\nLicenses, Registrations, or Certifications\n
- Current certification required from AWHONN Intermediate FHM, Advanced FHM Instructor, or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM).\n
- Current NRP and ACLS certification required.\n\nAll associates must obtain the required certifications within designated time frames related to their positions.\n\nWork Type : \n\nPer Diem As Needed
