Registered Nurse (RN) – Hospice Care

Serving Middlesex & Somerset Counties

    Compensation : $53 - $56 hourly

    Responsibilities :

  • Visit patients at home to assess needs and manage symptoms
  • Develop and adjust individualized care plans
  • Provide hands-on nursing focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life
  • Collaborate with our medical director, social workers, and hospice aides for seamless care
  • Support and guide families with compassion, clarity, and education throughout the hospice journey
  • Advocate for each patient’s wishes, values, and cultural traditions
  • Participate in team meetings to coordinate care and share updates
  • Teach families what to expect and how to provide support at home
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation to ensure quality care and compliance
  • Qualifications :

  • Must be willing to drive
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
  • 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience (hospice, palliative care, or related field preferred)
  • Knowledge of hospice philosophy and end-of-life care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and team members
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) and related healthcare software
