PI Developer

The person in this role will be responsible for upgrading all the PI interfaces across sites and WPO. There are approximately 200 interfaces on all over PI servers all of which are currently running legacy versions. In addition, the person in this role will also be working on developing the PI system monitoring within PI Asset framework that provides insights into interfaces, buffers, data points, archives, AF & Vision. The person in this role is also going to provide support to Agile LAB PI implementation project.

Responsibilities include working extensively on OSISoft PI product suite, upgrading / backing up & restoring PI Systems, collaborating with stakeholders, providing production support, and developing functional and business expertise with the team.

Skills required include knowledge of systems and software debugging, ability to install and configure systems, troubleshooting software and system problems, monitoring and maintaining performance metrics, and deploying solutions to the operational production environment.

Education and Certifications : Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical / business discipline / equivalent work experience. Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience with Aveva / OSI PI.
