Description :

This position is for a cardiovascular unit focusing on telemetry.

The shift is 3x12 hours on nights.

The unit may increase to a patient ratio of 1 : 7.

No call requirements are necessary.

Every other weekend and 2 out of 3 holidays are required.

Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed but efforts will be made to accommodate requests.

This is a 54-bed cardiac telemetry unit.

Most patients will be on a cardiac monitor.

Patients are monitored in a remote telemetry room as well as closely on the unit.

The patient population includes those with heart failure, heart attacks, strokes, and cardiac arrhythmias.

Overflow medical patients may be accepted when needed.

The required skills include blood product administration and cardiac telemetry.

Travelers must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility.

High-ratio cardiac unit specifications should be noted.

Candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.

Traveler compliance regarding conduct issues is mandatory.

Conduct issues may result in contract termination.
