Trunk Tools Account Executive, Mid-Market

At Trunk Tools, we are tackling the massive $13 trillion+ construction industry. We're an exceptional team of serial entrepreneurs, brought together by our shared mission : automating construction. Our founding team (SpaceX, Stanford, MIT, Carta, etc.) has successfully built and deployed software in construction for 140k+ users, millions of users beyond the construction space, and worked on +$2 billion of built-environment projects. We aren't another out-of-touch tech startup, most of our team comes from construction.

We spent the last few years building the brain behind construction. Now we are deploying workflows / agents, starting with Q&A document chatbot, to be ingrained in construction teams' workflows, ultimately to automate construction. Given our immense traction with several Fortune 500 construction companies, we are doubling our team (currently 50+ FTE) in order to deploy several more agents this year. You will have an opportunity to drive the transformation of a multi-trillion-dollar industry full of waste, risks and inefficiencies.

Overview

We're looking for an Account Executive, Mid-Market to join the Trunk Tools Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying an understanding of Trunk Tools products, sales methodology, processes, prospecting techniques, and customer base while selling to strategic mid-size accounts. The primary function of this position is new account acquisition, with an emphasis on growing revenue through new product sales to new and existing customers. This includes following up on inbound leads, prospecting, qualifying, solution selling, negotiation, and closing.

This position reports to the VP of Sales and can be based remotely in the US. We are looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you will do and achieve

Timely follow-up and qualification of new prospects from inbound leads or customer requests generated by marketing.

Develop prospecting plans for territory development to build rapport and create opportunities.

Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and gather business requirements.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts.

Provide sales management with reports on sales activities and projects as requested.

Increase knowledge of key competitors to effectively communicate our value proposition to customers.

Manage and maintain accurate leads, opportunities, and account information within HubSpot.

Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.

Obtain repeat business, referrals, and references by understanding the unique requirements of your customers.

Engage in networking, relationship building, cold calling, lead follow-up through emails, product demonstrations, and execution of service agreements.

Who you are

BA / BS or equivalent experience preferred.

3+ years of demonstrated successful software sales, preferably B2B.

Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology.

Proven record of success in inside and / or outside sales.

Ability and resilience to work in a fast-paced sales environment.

Ability to develop trusted relationships.

Proficiency with Google products and online collaboration tools.

Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably HubSpot.

Proven ability to develop and manage pipeline and forecasting.

Salary range : $100,000- 120,000 + commission
