WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Johnson City, New York.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Emergency Room Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Johnson City, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2,400 per week for this role.

Job Function : \n

  • Night Shift.

    • \n

  • Responsible for managing the care of adult and / or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions.

    • \n

  • Provide support, education and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience.

    • \n

  • Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing.

    • \n

  • Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures.

    • \n \n

    Job Requirements : \n

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).

    • \n

  • Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).

    • \n

  • 1-2 years of acute care experience in this speciality.

    • \n

  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

    • \n

  • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.

    • \n

  • PALS certification from the American Heart Association.

    • \n

  • TNCC certification is preferred.
