Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse at Johnston UNC Healthcare located in Smithfield, NC. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring patient health, and administering medications. Duties also include coordinating with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans, educating patients and their families on health management, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. The role involves documenting patient information accurately and maintaining up-to-date records.

Qualifications

• Patient Care and Health Monitoring skills
• Medication Administration and Healthcare Compliance skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate efficiently
• Documentation and Record-Keeping skills
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
