Reports To : Director of Technical Services

Status : Full-time

Classification : Exempt

SUMMARY

The Senior Network Engineer will design / architecture end-to-end network solutions including configuration, implementation and support of network infrastructures for a broad range of clients.

This Engineer will interface with clients, troubleshoot issues, architect end-to-end network solutions, configure-implement-support network infrastructures for a broad range of clients and manage multiple projects. They will work with a team and independently to support clients in the public and private sectors. The Engineer will perform all responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures.

Requirements :

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following—other duties as assigned.

Architect and deploy functional networks for medium, large and enterprise clients
Maintain complete technical documentation
Monitor network performance and integrity
Identify and recommend improvements for network performance, capacity and scalability
Possess highly-developed troubleshooting skills
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate highly developed customer service skills

The Sr. Networking Engineer should have advanced working knowledge of these products / technologies :

Cisco Switches (All Platforms) or Dell equivalent

Cisco Routers (All Series) or Dell equivalent

Cisco ASA 5500 series security appliances with FirePower Services to provide Internet Perimeter Security, network segmentation, LAN to LAN tunneling, address translation, IPSEC and SSL VPN remote access

Cisco Unified Wireless Solutions including Cisco and Meraki wireless access points or Dell equivalent

CCNP, CCDP and / or Cisco Security certifications is highly preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum 7+ years of industry-related experience as a Network Engineer of Administrator

IT Degree or equivalent

Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting networking systems
