Nurse Practitioner Paramus, NJ Part Time Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate expertise in various medical practices, including but not limited to critical care, pediatrics, and geriatrics. This role requires a compassionate individual who is committed to providing high-quality patient care across diverse settings. Duties As a Nurse Practitioner, your responsibilities will include : Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments Performing diagnostic evaluations and developing treatment plans Administering medications and injections as needed Managing acute and chronic health conditions, including pain management Providing education and health coaching to patients and families Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in various settings such as urgent care, outpatient clinics, and inpatient facilities Utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of patient care Participating in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality Experience / Requirements Candidates should have experience or familiarity with the following areas : NJ licensed as a Nurse Practitioner Candidate must be completely out of network. Hands-on experience with outpatient clinical. Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, eClinicalWorks for EMR / EHR systems Critical care experience including ICU, Level I & II trauma center experience Gastroenterology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and hospital medicine Experience with children in pediatrics or neonatal care Assisted living, nursing home experience, or hospice & palliative medicine Skills in suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, phlebotomy, and venipuncture Knowledge of medical terminology including ICD-9 / ICD-10 coding Familiarity with telehealth practices and utilization management Experience administering esthetic treatments such as botulinum toxin and dermal fillers
