Quality Assurance Specialist (Textiles)
Location : Lake Elsinore, CA
Pay : $22–$25 / hour (No benefits; quarterly bonuses possible)
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM
Type : Temporary (potential for long-term placement)
A well-established aerospace textile manufacturer in Lake Elsinore is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist (Textiles) to join their team. This role is hands-on and floor-based, working closely with the QC Manager to ensure that all parachute-grade textile products meet company, customer, and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will have textile or fabric manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards. This is not a desk job — it’s a working lead role focused on inspection and process control within production.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of textile materials and components.
Maintain QA manuals, SOPs, and documentation for textile production.
Ensure compliance with FAA, ISO, GMP, and OSHA quality standards.
Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective actions for non-conformances.
Support and lead internal and external quality audits.
Train production staff on inspection standards and documentation practices.
Utilize QA procedures for NCMR, RTV, and RMA processes.
Accurately measure, chart, and record inspection data.
Qualifications :
2–5 years of QA / QC experience in manufacturing (textile experience required).
Proficiency with inspection tools, measurement equipment, and QA documentation.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and data reporting.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
