Description :

Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery.

Shift details : 3 nights per week from 18 : 30 to 07 : 00.

Responsibilities include catching and caring for infants in L&D.

Experience with high-risk antepartum patients 32 weeks and above is required.

Circulate for C-sections.

Draw own phlebotomy.

Will be responsible for assessing and managing labor and delivery patients.

Provide couplet care, postpartum hemorrhage management, and monitoring vital signs.

Administer medications and IV therapies as needed.

Perform necessary procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and other obstetric interventions.

Maintain patient safety and comfort through high-quality care.

Collaboration with interdisciplinary team members is essential.

Participate in ongoing education and training as required.

Adherence to facility protocols and standards of care is expected.

Availability to float within scope to meet facility needs is required.

Every third weekend coverage will be needed.

The average daily census is 2-4 patients with a 1 : 1 patient ratio.
