Experience with chest tube setup and care

Experience with CPAP / BiPap

Experience with trach care

Experience with drains and feeding tubes

Experience with epidural and PCA pumps

Experience with line management, PICC / Central Lines, Port-A-Cath

Experience with wound vac

Tele interpretation experience

Experience with blood and blood products administration

Experience with cooling and warming blankets

Description :

This position involves working in a 349-bed acute care teaching hospital.

You will float to all areas including medical / surgical floors, emergency department hold, and observation units.

Responsibilities include setting up and caring for chest tubes, CPAP / BiPap, and tracheostomy care.

You will manage various drains and feeding tubes, and operate epidural and PCA pumps.

Line management includes handling PICC / Central lines and Port-A-Cath care.

Wound vac management and tele interpretation are required.

You will also administer blood and blood products as well as manage warming and cooling blankets.

Weekends and holidays may be required as necessary.
