Bag Machine Operator | Henderson, NV

Nexeo HR is hiring a Bag Machine Operator to join a leading team in the packaging and bag-making industry in Henderson, NV. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude, machine operation experience, and a strong work ethic who are looking to build a long-term manufacturing career. As a key member of the production team, you’ll operate automated bag-making machinery, ensure quality output, and keep production running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Load printed rolls into the feed mechanism
  • Monitor automatic bag-making processes including feeding, folding, gluing, and cutting
  • Inspect completed bags for quality, accuracy, and conformance to work orders
  • Make machine adjustments to correct variations and ensure consistency
  • Pack finished products into corrugated boxes and palletize cases
  • Print and verify labels for accuracy
  • Record daily production data in an ERP system
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair or replace worn parts as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Work 8-hour shifts with required overtime as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and follow work orders, specifications, and labels
  • Comfortable with computer data entry / ERP systems
  • Ability to lift, stack, and palletize materials
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work overtime when required

    $20.00 per hour

    Shift

    Monday – Thursday | 6 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM
