Ram Up Operator

Position Summary :

The Ram Up Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the ram-up process to ensure molds are properly prepared for production. This role is critical to maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency on the 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate ram-up equipment to prepare molds according to specifications.

Monitor the process for quality, consistency, and safety.

Inspect molds to ensure proper formation and adherence to standards.

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

Document production activities and report any issues or defects.

Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a foundry, casting, or manufacturing environment preferred.

Ability to operate machinery safely and follow detailed instructions.

Strong attention to detail and quality.

Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift hours consistently.

Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in a foundry environment.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions :

PPE required in accordance with company safety standards.

Physically demanding, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
