Overview
Pink Space Theory (PST) integrates science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math (STEAM) into project-based learning challenges for K-8 students using a mobile makerspace ("mobile fab lab"). The team-based activities include robotics, computer-aided, and tactile assisted design. This will be the first such program in Northern Virginia. The program aims to complement student learning, introduce new ways to approach subjects, and enhance technological literacy to enable students to access, evaluate, integrate, create, and communicate information through STEAM activities. PST is dedicated to empowering underserved and underrepresented youth through engaging STEAM programs that prepare, inspire, nurture, and kickstart their future academic and career pathways.
Volunteer Opportunity : Community Photographer
Use your passion for photography to make a difference and join our volunteer team as a Community Photographer. You will capture the excitement, creativity, and impact of our programs and events, telling the story of Pink Space Theory, the students we serve, and the role of our partners and community. If you enjoy documenting moments that inspire and love telling a story through photos, this role may be right for you. You will work closely with our Program Director and Communications Team to identify opportunities to capture images of students, families, and community partners. Your photos will help build a content library to support our marketing, outreach, and donor engagement efforts.
