What You’ll Do

Viasat’s Government Services and Solutions Special Operations Domain seeks a Capture and Strategy professional with deep knowledge and experience operating with the Special Operations market capable of identifying, qualifying, shaping, and winning business to support the U.S. Department of Defense, specifically within USSOCOM.

• Analyze US Government programs, command missions, service requirements, industry trends and Viasat strategy to develop, present, and lead pursuits for long-term / large value (>

$50M) programs for the DoD.

The ideal candidate will bring domain expertise in USSOCOM Airborne and DoD with a focus on large acquisition opportunities. They will serve as the SME for understanding programs, budgets, and requirements in those areas, and will help lead the team through program influence, customer relationships, current and future requirements, and Defense Industrial Base relationships and partnering.

Salary range

$185,000.00 - $291,500.00 per year. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $222,500.00 - $333,500.00 per year.
