The Floor Coverings International Production Coordinator is responsible for delivering the installation of a project to the level of expectation set in the sale of the project. This position is the key to ensuring that customers have a positive experience and that jobs are produced efficiently and profitably. The Production Coordinator is a role that revolves around a high level of customer service, communication, problem-solving, and organization along with some technical responsibilities. Any eye for detail is the key to ensuring that each project looks excellent before being revealed to the end user. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient and will accept ownership of the role.

Key Responsibilities :
Familiarize yourself with the details of each projectEnsure that all products and materials needed for each job are ordered accuratelyConsistently monitor deliveries to ensure materials arrive on timeCommunicate with customers and installers to coordinate installation datesSet proper expectations with customers regarding the installation process and how it will affect their daily lives and the condition of their home during the installationProvide daily updates to the customer regarding the details of the installationComplete job site visits daily for all projects to check in with installers and customersConfirm scope of work and compensation with installers prior to start of jobDeliver on expectations contracted in the sales processEnsure job site cleanliness after installation, walk the customer through job at completion, and collect final paymentAssist in management of the Production Assistant communicate where they will go and what responsibilities they will have each dayResolve any customer complaints, repairs, or other inquiries with urgencyAssist installation crews with whatever is necessary to finish projects and ensure a clean job siteAssist Office Manager in ensuring accurate invoicing for each projectWork home show booths as needed (3 Spring, 1 Fall), which includes weekend hoursCarry out small installations or repairs this often involves transitions and moldings (training available)Lifting up to 80 lbs. on occasionWork with hand tools and power tools alike along with paints, stains, and finishesKeep warehouse and company vehicles organized and presentableBe available to attend training seminars as neededContinually educate yourself on new flooring types and installation methodsMake decisions and act in accordance with FCI's core values and missionQualifications :
High school or equivalentAssociate degree or some college (preferred)Customer service experienceProject management experienceHome improvement or flooring sales / installation experience : 1 year (preferred)Able to work independently without supervisionHigh level of organizational skills including time management, priority management, delegation, and detail orientationOutstanding written and communication skillsCompensation : $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
