Preconstruction Manager Commercial General Contractor

Are you a construction professional with a passion for building strong projects from the ground upbefore the first shovel hits the dirt? Our Colorado Springs team is looking for an experienced Preconstruction Manager to join a leading commercial general contractor with a reputation for delivering quality, innovative projects across the region.

What You'll Do :

  • Lead the preconstruction process on commercial projects from concept through GMP.
  • Manage estimates, budgets, and schedules while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work closely with project owners, architects, and engineers to develop cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee bid processes, subcontractor outreach, and proposal preparation.
  • Provide value-engineering insights to keep projects aligned with client goals.
  • Partner with operations teams to ensure a smooth handoff into construction.

What We're Looking For :

  • 7+ years of commercial construction experience with at least 3 years in preconstruction or estimating.
  • Strong background in cost estimating, project planning, and conceptual budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skillsyou'll be the go-to resource for clients and partners in the early stages of the project.
  • Familiarity with regional subcontractor markets and strong relationships in Colorado.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
