Principal Security Engineer

A company is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to lead information security initiatives and collaborate with development and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

Identify security threats in applications and infrastructure, providing remediation mentorship

Collaborate with SRE and development teams to reduce vulnerabilities at scale

Build repeatable security processes and frameworks while assisting in project scoping and ownership

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in security engineering across various domains including Security Architecture and Cloud Security

Skilled in Secure Development Lifecycle and Shift Left methodologies

Proficient in Threat Modeling, Architecture Review, and Penetration Testing

Strong scripting abilities in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, and PowerShell

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
