Overview
We\'re seeking a seasoned Lead Alarm Technician to join a growing team in Dallas, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least two years of commercial alarm installation and programming experience who\'s ready to lead technicians across diverse projects in hospitals, airports, and corporate offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily tasks for field technicians across multiple job sites
- Submit daily reports and communicate project updates to managers
- Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms
- Program commercial alarm systems independently
- Work with IP / analog cameras, access control panels, magnetic locks, card readers, motion sensors, and more
- Collaborate with project managers and technicians to complete documentation and meet project timelines
- Provide system training and support to customers
- Maintain accurate daily records and follow operational standards
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience programming and installing commercial alarm systemsProven ability to lead and coordinate field teamsStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently at customer sitesMust have PPE : hard hat with chin strap, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and safety vestAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments including construction sitesComfortable with physical tasks such as climbing, crawling, and using power toolsAdditional Details
On-site role with an average of 1-2 job sites per dayNo mileage reimbursement, but hourly pay includes drive time between sitesMust be comfortable working in outdoor conditions and confined spaces when requiredSchedule may vary depending on project (e.g., 10-hour shifts Mon-Thurs or 8-hour shifts Mon-Fri)Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
