Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Unarmed PT

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a logistics and distribution environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with people on-site, delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeSat11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AMSun11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual circumstances encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points at the location.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the logistics and distribution environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
