Engineering Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Technician to join our team. This position requires proficiency using high voltage power supplies in a manufacturing setting!

The successful candidate will be responsible for :

  • Writing in-process test procedures for circuit boards.
  • Designing test fixtures (a plus).
  • Troubleshooting down to the component level.
  • Working closely with Engineering to support new systems development.
  • Loading software for system testing.
  • Reading schematics, wiring diagrams, or wire lists prior to system testing.
  • Reporting unusual and / or recurring faults and failures.
  • Returning defective components to Quality Assurance.
  • Traveling to customers to conduct inspections, installations, and repairs.
  • Performing other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Top Must-Have Skills :

  • Experience in Electrical / Electronic Testing : Minimum of 3 years in the field.
  • Security Clearance Eligibility : Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
  • Technical Proficiency : Strong knowledge of digital electronics, electrical / electronic components, and test equipment, including the use of digital oscilloscopes.

    • Skills & Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree desirable.
  • Established security clearance highly desirable.
  • Power conversion / power supply experience desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
  • Experience with Analog & Digital power circuits.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Some travel required to support fielded equipment, both domestic and international.

    • Work Environment :

    You will be working in a standard engineering / manufacturing company. Our large building is currently being renovated to enhance manufacturing efficiency, with new equipment and advanced testing setups. We pride ourselves on being a collaborative company.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
