Overview
We're a architecture firm with a diverse portfolio seeking a Project Manager to join our growing Mission Critical team, leading projects from concept through completion. This role is responsible for managing design delivery, client relationships, and project performance - including schedule, quality, and profitability. The ideal candidate is an experienced architect or project leader who thrives on collaboration, communication, and guiding teams to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships through a deep understanding of client goals and project objectives
- Manage the full project lifecycle - from programming and design through construction administration and post-occupancy evaluation
- Lead internal and consultant teams to coordinate design, documentation, and technical execution within project scope, budget, and timeline
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of construction documents, ensuring alignment with firm standards, quality expectations, and applicable codes
- Collaborate with leadership on project planning, scheduling, and staffing to meet deliverable and resource goals
- Support or lead client presentations, project reviews, and public hearings as needed
- Anticipate and address potential project risks, coordinating solutions with clients and internal teams
- Review and approve deliverables to ensure compliance with QA / QC standards and local regulations
- Mentor and support staff development through ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance guidance
- Foster a collaborative team culture that encourages open communication and creative problem-solving
- Track project budgets, schedules, and labor utilization, recalibrating as needed to meet goals
- Understand contracts and identify additional service opportunities as they arise
- Participate in business development efforts, including proposals, estimates, and client outreach for new and repeat work
Qualifications
