ABOUT THE ROLE

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for the patient in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status.

Territory : Tucson

SKILLS / ABILITIES / KNOWLEDGE :

• Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices
• Demonstrates tact and patience
• Ability to maintain confidentiality about patients serviced by hospice
• Understands and supports agency goals and philosophy
• Maintains current state driver's license and has a dependable insured automobile
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision
