Position Summary

As a Fraud Support Representative, you will have the opportunity to create a difference in the lives of our customers every single day. You will use sound judgement to assess the risk level when reviewing accounts for possible fraudulent activity. You will also assist with investigations on fraud cases with direction from your Team Leader.

Skills & Attributes Needed

The following skills and attributes are needed to be successful in your banking career as a Fraud Support Representative :

  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient knowledge of banking terminology
  • Demonstrate mathematical and analytical skills
  • Work independently as well as part of team
  • Problem solving skills
  • Great communication

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications :

  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion of customer and bank information.
  • Be able to show high attention to detail, with the ability to problem solve basic math errors.
  • Know how to operate a computer and other standard office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email and in person.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in banking and balancing is preferred.
  • Six to twelve months of on-the-job training is required to become familiar with departmental policies and procedures
