Position Summary :

The Clinical Business Manager provides leadership and day-to-day oversight for the admissions and intake team. This role ensures timely and accurate prior authorizations, supports compliance with documentation standards, and promotes efficient service delivery across residential and outpatient programs. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience navigating payer systems and supporting staff within behavioral health or recovery services.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise the clinical admissions team, ensuring timely intake processes and positive client experiences.
• Oversee prior authorization workflows and payer communications to avoid delays in services.
• Complete monthly audits of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the Director of Programs and Director of Outpatient Services to identify training needs and coordinate the delivery of onboarding and ongoing staff development.
• Ensure documentation and billing requirements are being met to support timely claims and reimbursements.
• Partner with scheduling coordinators to resolve staffing issues as needed.
• Serve as liaison between the admissions team, program leadership, billing, and administrative departments to address and resolve operational concerns.
• Maintain up-to-date training materials and ensure resources are available to support staff across locations.
• Provide guidance and back-up support for crises or complex client admissions.
• Support continuous improvement by monitoring workflows and making recommendations for process enhancements.
• Travel to and between facilities as needed.
