Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Labor and Delivery Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Title : RN L&D Job Duties : Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum process. Monitor fetal heart rates, contractions, and maternal vital signs to ensure patient and infant safety. Administer medications, including epidurals and oxytocin, as prescribed by the physician or midwife. Assist obstetricians and other healthcare providers during deliveries, C-sections, and emergency situations. Educate and support expectant mothers and their families on birthing plans, postpartum care, and newborn health. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC EMR systems while adhering to hospital policies and safety protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a safe, comfortable, and positive birthing experience.
