Center for Community Resources Crisis Intervention Services is looking for a compassionate mental health professional.

Crisis Intervention services include telephone and mobile assessment, crisis counseling, conflict resolution, referral and linking to community resources.

Work in a supportive team environment while helping people access mental health / drug and alcohol services in Cameron and Elk Counties.

This is a casual position, evening / overnights.

Must be flexible to cover weekends responding to mental health emergencies.

Crisis Intervention services operate 24 / 7, 365 days year, so willing to help as needed.

The starting salary for this position is $21.54 / hr.

We also offer a possible higher salary based on experience.

Crisis Counselors will be part of an on-call rotation to respond to the community.

The On-Call hourly rate is $23.00 / hr and we pay a stipend of up to $400.00 per week when covering on call for one full week.

Essential Functions :

• Provide mobile mental health crisis intervention, assessment for safety and general needs.
• Complete all reports and documentation in a timely fashion.
• Maintain quality standards.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and some additional office hours.
• Able to exercise sound judgement.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
