• Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU)\n
• Start Date : November 10, 2025\n
• End Date : February 9, 2026\n
• Duration : 13 weeks\n
• Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,880 - $2,020\n
• Orientation : 16 hours\n
• Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend required\n\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent, consecutive ICU nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (no pending licenses)\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) & ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required\n
• Proficient in medication scanning and Epic charting (preferred)\n
• Willingness and ability to float to ICU units at Bucyrus and Galion campuses\n
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions considered)\n
• Smoke-free healthcare facility and campus\n
• On-call : Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 1 hour when called in\n
• Completion of up to 8 hours of pre-start modules via HealthStream required\n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n
• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit\n
• Manage dysrhythmias, arterial and central lines, and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips\n
• Assist with BiPAP / CPAP management and care of ventilated patients\n
• Perform suctioning (ETT, NT) and adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols\n
• Maintain accurate documentation using hospital charting systems (Epic preferred)\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes\n
• Float to other ICU units within the Ohio health system as needed\n\nNote : No holiday or holiday week time off requests will be accepted.
