CHI Health would love to add a Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant to our Cardiology Clinic located at our CUMC-Bergan campus off of 77th & Mercy!

Schedule : Monday-Friday 8a-430p, NO weekends, NO holidays & NO call!

The Certified Medical Assistant performs a crucial role in providing outstanding patient care and ensuring the clinic's smooth daily operations. Under the direct supervision of a cardiologist, this role involves a variety of clinical and administrative tasks specific to cardiology. The CMA will act as a bridge between the patients and the medical team, using a warm demeanor, strong communication skills, and clinical proficiency.

• CHI Health does require our Certified Medical Assistants to be a g raduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications :

Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)

Current / valid nationally recognized certification, registration or recognition for medical assistants (AAMA / CMA, RMA, NCMA)

Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current / valid

Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Pay Range

$17.89 - $24.60 / hour
