Medical Assistant Position

The Community Health Center of Buffalo is seeking Medical Assistants to join the Family Planning Department. The Medical Assistant will perform clerical and clinical functions under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and / or Physician. • Adhere to agency policies and procedures regarding confidentiality
• Participate in quality improvement activities
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff
• Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with patients and staff
• Adhere to infection control principles
• Contribute to Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance activities as needed

Physical Demands :

This role requires periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Some evening work may be necessary.

This is a union position (1199SEIU) with an hourly rate of $17.63 - $21.28.
