Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring two years of current hospital L&D and OR experience, with active Iowa or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in the Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting

Care for labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum patients

May float to Mother / Baby and Postpartum units as needed

Epic EMR is used in this facility and experience is preferred

Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays : Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving

Only 1 day of requested time off is permitted between 11 / 26 / 25-11 / 30 / 25 and 12 / 23 / 25-1 / 2 / 26

Locals within 50 miles are accepted

First-time travelers may be considered

References from a supervisor within the past 2 years are needed for onboarding

Returning employees must not have worked at the facility within the past 12 months

Requirements

Active IA or compact RN license required

Minimum 2 years of current L&D experience in a hospital setting, including operating room exposure

Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NRP

All licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration

Experience with Epic preferred
