Job Summary

The End User Computing Specialist I provides front-line technical support to clinical and non-clinical staff across our healthcare facilities. This role ensures the proper operation and security of end-user devices, supporting systems that directly impact patient care, administrative workflows, and operational efficiency. Working under direct supervision, the EUC Specialist I is an entry-level role designed for individuals beginning a career in IT support within a healthcare setting.

Essential Functions :

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, thin clients, tablets, printers, scanners, and mobile devices used in clinical and administrative environments (20%)
  • Set up and deploy end-user devices using standardized imaging and deployment tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune, Autopilot) (20%)
  • Ensure endpoint compliance with security updates, antivirus, and encryption policies (10%)
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software including Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, and healthcare-specific applications (10%)
  • Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the IT ticketing system (10%)
  • Participate in IT inventory management and asset tracking (10%)
  • Troubleshoot issues remotely using various remote access applications (10%)
  • Effectively interact with customers while maintaining professionalism (10%)

Education :

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Work Experience :

  • 1+ year of experience in an IT support or help desk role, ideally in a healthcare setting required.
  • Microsoft, CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Windows OS, Apple IOS, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking
  • Basic hardware support - PCs, laptops, Apple mobile devices, mice, keyboards, monitors, scanners, and printers
