CNC Head Machinist & Programmer

Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Head Machinist & Programmer position include :

• 5-10+ years of CNC programming experience with 5-axis mills, 3-axis mills, and lathes (Mastercam experience is mandatory)
• Program all new parts using Mastercam with a focus on precision and efficiency
• Set up and lead the machining of complex aerospace components with tight tolerances
• Extensive experience in metal forming and milling, with a strong background in metal manufacturing processes.
• Manage daily machine shop operations and lead a team of machinists
• Collaborate with engineering teams on CAM programming and design adjustments
• Ensure quality control using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers
• Oversee equipment maintenance and implement safety and workflow improvements
• Train and mentor team members on machining techniques, tooling, and safety protocols

Salary : $85,000 - $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
