About The Position
Job Title : Emergency Room Nurse
Profession : RN
Specialty : Emergency Room Nurse
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Night Shift, must be open to work some weekends, 4,3,4,3 block schedule
Hours per Shift : 36 hours guaranteed
Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience required
License : Current RN license required
Certifications : BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Must-Have :
- 2+ years recent ER experience preferred
- Operating knowledge of Electronic Medical Records preferred
- Ability to pass nursing medication test
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Good interpersonal skills to interface professionally, tactfully, and respectfully with patients, staff, the general public, and governmental agency representatives
- Basic computer skills required
Description :
Provides patient care in an emergency setting.
Reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility with minimum supervision.
Triages safely, rapidly, and accurately.
Communicates with physicians about patient status.
Must be willing to cross-train in other nursing departments as the need arises.
